Enrico Giovene

Enrico Giovene is a senior executive with significant management expertise in corporate restucturing and development. Executive Vice President of Electrolux Food Service Equipment (worldwide), then Executive Vice President Group Sales of Gruppo Natuzzi (worldwide) and Chairman of Natuzzi Americas Inc (USA) until 2003. Previously he was Brand Division Director of White Goods (Italy) for the Electrolux Group. He also worked for the Olivetti Corporate Headquarters in M&A project implementation and for Selenia (today part of Gruppo Finmeccanica) in product development. He started his career as a researcher for the University of Padua and CERN (Geneva).
Enrico has a solid experience in corporate strategy and operations. He has managed large-scale implementations of both revenue enhancement and cost reduction strategies and has been involved in significant M&A activities in multinational environments. He has international transformation and turnaround expertise in areas such as sales, marketing, organization, supply chain, R&D.
In his practice, Enrico has assisted client companies in restructuring, evaluating merging or re-locating operations, managing change in product-market policy. He has been assessing value of acquisition targets and conducting management appraisal programs. He has recently undertaken the Group CEO role in the Antonio Merloni Group of Companies under procedure of “Amministrazione Straordinaria” according to the Italian “Marzano law”.
Enrico graduated in Physics (specialization in Electronic Physics) at the University of Padua (1972) and served as a researcher for CERN in Geneva. He is lecturing Applied Economics at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Udine. He is fluent in Italian, English and French.
